How Do I Care For My Circle & Dash Jewellery?
Although one of the main concerns many people have when they hear the words paper jewellery is durability, there’s no reason to worry about it. See our FAQs below to hopefully answer some questions you may have, or to learn more.
How Durable is Paper Jewellery?
All paper jewellery pieces are sealed with a lacquer or clear resin ensuring a water-resistant finish. Care should still be taken, please try to avoid wearing your jewellery in the shower or submerging in water, occasional superficial water shouldn’t damage your jewellery.
How Do I Clean Sterling Silver?
Silver will tarnish over time, resulting in dull jewellery, tarnishing occurs when silver is exposed to oxygen and sulphur in the air. It is unavoidable, but it doesn't damage the metal and can be removed easily with cleaning. Tarnishing will occur faster when the silver comes into contact with products such as perfume and creams, so it is best to apply these before putting your jewellery on to avoid direct contact
When your jewellery starts to look dull its time to get a polishing cloth out. Use a polishing cloth regularly to prevent the natural process of tarnishing.
Circle & Dash’s Earrings & Necklaces are made with sterling silver.
How Do I Clean Silver Plated Jewellery?
Our range of Bangles are Silver Plated. Just like caring for Sterling Silver, use a polishing cloth regularly to prevent the natural process of tarnishing.
While silver-plating offers a beautiful silver appearance at an affordable price, the plated finish may naturally wear away over time.
